Genetta's Horse Video

Posted by rhoughton at 2006-02-16 19:31
Great farm scene; nice lighting. Camera pans are too fast, linger, move slowly in your pans. The entire shoot the camera is on wide; the details of the horses are lost; you need close-ups, tight shots of the ears, the horse breathing thru the nostrils; a rider on a horse would show their relationship to people. Tell a story - however short, wide scene, mixed with close-ups and medium shots.

I like how your video is divided into three sections. This will be good for the students.

Good audio level, though lighting is a bit bright. However, the message is clipped at the beginning and at the end. Must have complete sentences so remix this in your video editor.

Nice audio levels and lighting; shouldn't the teacher be in in the clip as an important part of the video story; closeups and cutaways needed to complete the story.

I like having the students in the video playing the instruments. It is much better than just seeing instruments.

Nice closeups; great lighting and audio levels but spoken text is clipped in the beginning and needs re-editing.

I like the visuals of the two different keyboards. This is certainly much more useful than just a brief picture.

I like the transitions you used in your video.
